Grout cleaning and silicon replacement

Grout

A lot of my customers presume the grout in the shower area needs replaced, when it only needs the correct cleaning product applied. Have tried loads of different cleaners, and Domestos Grot Buster is the best (its stocked at Tesco's Extra). Most of the time this is all the grout requires. I can do this at the same time as replacing mouldy silicon seals around the bath or shower tray.

Silicon

I only use Dow Corning silicon's, as I have found them to be the best at resisting mould. If silicon mould re appears, then the main reason this happens is due to poor or no extraction, and/or sitting water on the seals.  Using a bathroom cleaning spray that contains bleach helps to keep the silicon mould free, as well as wiping the seals dry after use.
