Pressure washing
A simple and effective way of improving the look and safety of your flagstone/slab paths, driveways, decking, wooden/plastic/metal garden furniture and wooden garden buildings.
The pressure washer uses water, nothing else, so is safe to use next to plants/grass etc.
I now have a dedicated pressure washing website.

I have found that with decking that hasn't been cleaned for more than a year, pressure washing after applying a
decking restorer product helps to produce an evenly cleaned surface, and also brings out the grain of the wood. A much nicer finish.

Left side has been pressure washed only, and the right has been pressure washed, then treated with Cuprinol decking oil, tint in natural oak. Nice flake free finish,
that nourishes the wood at the same time.

I use a
trade machine rated at 186 bar / 756 litre per hour, which is about 50% quicker at completing the job than a normal household machine. The pressure is the same as some household machines, but the litre per hour is more. This means I can clean slabs with about a 50mm fan jet. With less litres from a household machine, you may only get a 20mm fan jet, and this is where the time saving occurs.
This means it will not affect the slabs or pointing any more than it would with a normal household machine, but is much quicker at completing the job.
Only an outside tap is required to use this machine.
I carry various connectors so it can also be connected to an inside tap if needed.
Petrol cost to run this machine is added to final bill. It uses about 1 litre of petrol per hour.
